Raquet Club Brewery is a small, independent craft brewery based out in California. Their incredibly laid-back, informal attitude won me over straight away, so I stepped in to help them craft a new logo and the illustrations for their cans.
Game, set, and a pint.
The logo takes its cue directly from the brewery’s name. I had a bit of fun playing around with the concept of a vintage tennis club where the players smash hops across the net instead of tennis balls.
The can designs are a love letter to four stunning Californian cities: Santa Monica, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, and Long Beach.
Each illustration captures exactly what puts these spots on the map: sweeping sandy beaches, glamorous villas, and sun-drenched streets.
Little brands all grown up
I wrapped up the project by knocking together a prototype for their product landing page, alongside some cracking marketing collateral to tie it all together—think beer boxes, t-shirts, a cap, and, naturally, beer mats.
