How does Bimuno work?

Bimuno, the leading company in the prebiotic supplement production, wanted to create a video to explain how prebiotic supplements can help keep the bad bacteria in check.
My role in the project was to ideate, design and produce the animation.
The production started with the creation of a storyboard based on the script created by the client. When it was signed off, I then proceeded with the scenes design.
Each scene has been designed in vector format, so they were quick to update if necessary. The agile process proved to be useful when I worked with the Bimuno experts to get the bacteria’s shapes and movements just right.
The cheerful style has been inspired by Once upon a time…life, one of my favourite cartoons when I was a kid. The show also inspired the warm colour palette, that I tweaked to highlight the blue and green tones of the Bimuno brand.
Below you can see the final result. The client was so impressed by the clarity of the animation that it used part of it in one of its TV adverts.
